Aplexcity is a strategic board-game that I worked on as a project at AUT. Players play with the same pieces and must complete the construction of an abstract city before pollution fills the board and ends the game.

Players compete to either have the most points when the city is completed or if that objective is impossible because pollution has taken over the board, they must have the least amount of points to win.

This results in interesting strategies and interactions between the players, where one player often is frightened of pollution and attempts to sabotage the city.

The rules are available on my blog post. I still have a copy of the game in case you’d like to play!
